While you can certainly just buy a ready made Koss ESP-950 to Stax 5-pin adapter cable from us, we understand that people might want to save some money and build one themselves.
So here’s the wiring diagram so you know where to solder each wire.
All you need is a Koss ESP-950 extension cable and a Stax 5-pin male connector.
- Cut the Koss ESP-950 male connector off.
- Strip the ends of each conductor off.
- Then solder each wire into the Stax 5-pin male plug.
Thank you for this pin out!
Worked like a charm using the 5 pin Panel Mount Jack from the Koss Energizer Box to a 5 pin STAX connector purchased form another Vendor. Warning : you must wire the Koss Connector backwards to what is shown except the “B” connect (middle pin of the 3 pin row). I had twist the wires and tape which eliminated “static” on the right channel coming out of my STAX SRM-007tA Amplifier.
Out of Our Heads is next !
Thanks, man !
