I am happy to announce that the latest version of Out Of Your Head for OS X has been fixed. There is no longer any need to follow these steps. Out Of Your Head should install without changing anything.
Please download the latest trial version that is fixed. (version “e”):
There is currently a know bug with the installation of Out Of Your Head on the Yosemite version of OS X. We are waiting to get approval from Apple before we can fix this bug. In the meantime, please follow these instructions to enable the installation of Out Of Your Head on OS X Yosemite: To enable installing third party KEXTs, you run the following command in an OS X Terminal window: (You can find the Terminal app in /Applications/Utilities/Terminal) enter “su” and hit Enter Enter your root password. (Usually this is the password of your administrator account on your computer.) If you successfully logged in as root, the command prompt in the Terminal window should change and end in the “#” symbol. Then type: sudo nvram boot-args=”kext-dev-mode=1″ Hit Enter Then reboot After reboot, reinstall Out Of Your Head and it should complete without the error.
