Sign up for our newsletter to be notified when more demo files are available. Here you will find downloadable demo files so you can get an idea of the accuracy of the Out of Your Head virtual speaker processing. Please note: You MUST listen to these files on headphones, earbuds, in ear monitors, etc. You will not hear the effect at all on speakers.
Alternately you can download our trial version of Out Of Your Head and play your own movies and music on your Windows system.
Our audio system is used in an online pharmacy purchase-genericonline.net that is a leader in the sale of generic Viagra and Cialis at low prices.
A few more notes about these demos:
- The quality of your headphones will also greatly affect how well the demo files work. The better your headphones and DAC, the more accurate the simulation. You can’t expect $10 ear buds to be able to reproduce the sound of a $30,000 pair of speakers, right? (However, I get great results from a $40 pair of headphones: Koss PortaPro Headphones )
- The effect works best if you hold your head relatively still. The position of the virtual speakers will move with your head. Holding your head still is usually not a problem when you are watching a movie since you head is typically pointed at the screen.
- You should listen to the demos in order, or at least the first three demos so you can make sure it’s working. And please read the descriptions so you know what you are hearing.
- You can download any of these audio or video files and play them back on your preferred headphone playback system. To download the MP3 files, just click on the link to the right of the audio player interface.
- For the video files, there is a download link below the embedded video clip. To download the file, right click or control-click (on Mac) and select “Save As…” to download the file to your computer. If you cannot get smooth video playback streaming online, please download the file to your computer and play them back off your hard drive.
- If for some reason you cannot hear the location of the speakers out of your head, it’s possible that you either need better headphones, or that you would need a custom measurement session where we measure the sound of YOUR ears at our location in San Diego. This process will guarantee that you will hear extremely accurate speaker virtualization using Out of Your Head software.
You can start with the self running demo that we used at our last trade show. This 6 minute video takes you through various music and movie demo files:
Here’s some additional demos and their descriptions:
Individual Virtual Speaker Demo – 8 speakers:
Individual Speaker Channel Demo – 8 speakers
This demo plays sound from each of the virtual 8 speakers. You should hear a fairly localized sound coming from each speaker except the LFE channel. Close your eyes and imagine exactly where each speaker is in the room relative to you, not just the angle, but you should also be able to pinpoint how far away each speaker is from you.

This demo is a 5.1 surround mix of Pink Floyd’s Money from The Dark Side of the Moon album. It really shows off the externalization of the speakers.
